We’re in Stratford-Upon-Avon this weekend, birthplace of Shakespeare! Lovely Tudor buildings everywhere..

We didn’t book tickets for an actual Shakespeare play because my boyfriend’s Dutch so it gets a bit confusing (can be challenging enough for an English speaker, I think!), but we went to see this awesome ‘paper theatre’ wish I could find better pictures of The Icebook, a mixture of book art and animation, ‘miniature theatre show made of paper and light’ with only 12 in the audience at a time. (And a play about Galileo with my parents.)

The house in the top picture belonged to Shakespeare’s daughter, the bottom one was Shakespeare’s house as he grew up (his dad was a glove maker), and where he later lived with his wife Anne Hathaway. :)

Back soon enjoy the rest of your weekend!
